My name is Lisa Vermeulen and I am a full-time visual artist based in the UK.
I created KompasGeometricArts.co.uk to share my passion in creating geometric and some biomorphic arabesque art.
The dynamic geometric art form has a long tradition and is ever evolving. There is a thriving geometric arts community with people from across the world. We build on an art form that can be found in a large cultural region spanning three continents.
The creation of a geometric art piece involves a lengthy process - partly depending on the level of detail in the final design. Some art pieces take a day, others take several weeks of solid work to complete.
My art pieces are made with artist quality watercolour, ink, gouache, walnut oil, pencil. I use high grade professional watercolour paper. I also make digital art, and explore other media such as clay.
